Farewell

We enjoyed our cruise - it was just the break we needed.

Just reviewed the postings and see one of the last pictures did not post. That’s OK since it was just more scenery.

Our next trip is planned for July 2017 when we will go to Switzerland and the Italian northern lakes region. Haven’t been in Switzerland in 20 years so it is about time to go back.

Hen and six chicks

We had almost a full day to spend back at the hotel before boarding our homeward flight. Was nice to be in an air conditioned room of our own. Bob wandered around and caught this picture of a hen and chicks.

The sports platform at anchor

Aft of the Wind Spirit was a sports platform where you could use scuba gear, jet skies, zodiacs or just loll on the tarps.

Our guide trying to capture one of the eels, said to live only in this 100 yard stretch of a stream. Never did see the blue eyes.

Human sacrifice platform

Before Christianity arrived, the natives practiced human sacrifice on stone platforms.
